I'm a Fan...

...of The Cool Kids. Their name came up while I was talking to 2 of my friends about how horrible new rappers are. I admitted that, in my "old" age, i have become a Rap Snob. But all the Pepto Bismol in the world cannot help me sit through an entire episode of Rap City without nausea. Too many clowns rambling about nonsense and ignorant blather. "Superman that hoe, get lo lo lo lo, wipe your knees off. Rahhh!" Shut the F*ck up and go take a class somewhere you Bastid!

You know the T-Pains, and the Soldier Boy's and that dude Hurricane Chris, and that Jerome Bettis lookin dude Flo Rida character...and all the rest of those products of remedial music class that are ruining popular music. I'm sick of them...ALL. I'm a Rap Snob.

But the Cool kids are something different...I can appreciate their 80's vibe. I know it's a gimmick, but it's not intolerable yet. It's convincing enough, even though they are probably teenagers. But who cares, they pull it off with out being too pretentious and they definitely do not take themselves too seriously with that "I'm bout to buss a muthaf***a head open and sell some crack to a b*tch, mutha f***a!!" ignorant rap bullsh*t that has become way too popular. I have no idea where they came from, but I believe Kanye West is associated with them in some way (I hope they aren't gay)...but who cares. I'm sold. For now...

The Perfect Shirt

The short sleeve Polo shirt, by Ralph Lauren is indeed the perfect shirt made for men. Both the mesh and interlock shirts are equal in perfection and beauty. If I could, I would wear one everyday of the year. I hate shopping, trying on clothes, standing in line, searching for a size, etc. And this discovery has made it easy to avoid the pains of shirt shopping. But they are overpriced, even though they do last forever...a completely different headache. But God bless the Outlets and the Discount Retail stores.

Obama

Though i claim no political party and i am a proud independent
voter, there is no way that i cannot support Senator Barack Obama. Not because he is also a black man, not because of the Republican party's recent track record, and not even because Hillary Clinton is as unbearable as a knife to the gut...But it is his time. He has proven to be the perfect american politician. Or at least as perfect as i have witnessed as long as I have cared to be informed. I hope that he lives up to what he has showed us so far. And I am not ashamed to admit that seeing him get inaugurated will be the first, non death related, event that will make me cry as a grown man...However those tears WILL be because he is a black man though. Power to the People.
