The Purple Tape

Hands down one of the greatest Rap Albums ever Recorded. Raekwon The Chef: Only Built for Cuban Linx (Co-Starring Ghostface Killah). I don't really have anything profound to say, just showing some appreciation.

Apparently Raekwon is allegedly releasing Cuban Linx 2, but I won't hold my breath until I see an official track list. All I'm going to say is that if Ghostface isn't on at least HALF of the tracks, and if RZA didn't produce at least 80% of the beats...then they need to change the name. No need to taint the legacy of the original classic by releasing more trash rap.

RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at a Memorial Day Cookout that Got RAINED out...Obviously, the rain was a bit disappointing.

Man Beater & Cap

Blue Dread

Another Dread Head. This kinda looks like Lil Wayne...but that wasn't the intention...AT ALL. I still like it though.

Inspiration...

Here is a short list of people who have inspired me in the realm of creative, artistic expression. Combined, they all epitomize the quality, style, and timelessness that I strive to achieve with all of my creative works.

Salvador Dali

His art is dark, strange, unique and beautiful.

Seth McFarlane

The Creator of Family Guy. He created the characters, is the voice talent for a majority of the characters, executive produces a popular animated series and will be rich forever. He has set the paradigm that I follow in the animated series that I am working on.

Spike Lee

Mr. Lee has created a body of work that has established his signature style in his socially conscious, thought provoking, entertaining films. Bamboozled is actually the movie that solidified in my mind that the Television business is the place for me.

Rod Serling

The creator of the best show in television history, The Twilight Zone. He also wrote a majority of the episodes and hosted each as well. The twilight zone embodies the theme of "Things not being what they seem" which is the primary focus of a lot of my writing.

Stanley Kubrick

The master film maker and director/screenwriter for my favorite movie of all time, A Clockwork Orange. His career is un-paralleled and he is a true master of his craft. You know a Stanley Kubrick Film from the first frame. That is the effect that I strive for in all of my writing.

Aaron McGruder

I actually grew up down the street from this dude. His mother used to Babysit me when I was very little. McGruder's Boondocks has become an american institution. His edgy, racially charged humor and social satire is unmatched.

Edgar Allan Poe

Greatest american poet ever. His storytelling is amazing, his imagery is incredible, and the writing is timeless.

Gordon Parks

Photographer/Writer/Film Maker/Composer...The man did it all and did it well.

Da Grouch

When I was a kid...Oscar the grouch used to be my favorite Sesame Street Character. This one kind of reminds me of him.

Red Dread

This is one of my favorites...I love the way the dreads came out.

Black Nerds

There haven't been any good black nerds on TV lately. There was a time when they were all over...Urkle, Carlton, Roger from What's Happening. Now, we don't see any Black nerds. Black Nerds on TV have helped to restore the balance of the perception of Black males on TV. The Nerds won't rob, rape, or beat you...and they are probably smarter than you too, WE NEED MORE BLACK NERDS ON TV!!!!!!

Black Nerd All Stars:

Carlton (Fresh Prince of Bel Air)

He's corny, listens to the same music as a 50 year old White Woman, no rhythm, is spoiled and sheltered by his Rich Parents, and is completely HARMLESS. Oh and lets not forget the fact that he wears bow-ties, sweaters and khakis for virtually every occasion. If that doesn't scream "I have no intention of harming you or your family" then I don't know what does.

Roger (What's Happening)

Roger wasn't really much of a nerd, but the glasses, baby afro, and often awkward ways, made him the original non-threatening black male.

Urkle (Family Matters)

The ultimate TV Nerd. He's abnormally smart, socially inept, clumsy and awkward, and has the voice of a 3 year old girl. He is the epitome of Nerd.

The 'Stache.

I wanted to draw a big cowboy mustache, so I did...the rest kind of drew itself after that.
